Trelleborg Energizes CIAME 2020 Exhibition with Wide Range of Agricultural Radial Tire Solution
From 13 to 15 November 2020, Trelleborg Wheel Systems showcased five agricultural radial tire solutions to visitors at the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME), in Qingdao, China.
The only international agricultural machinery exhibition to take place during 2020, CIAME attracted 120,000 visitors who explored the Agricultural Mechanization, Rural Revitalization and Poverty Alleviation themed event. During the exhibition, Trelleborg displayed three sets of radial tire solutions for 40 to 260 horsepower tractors, including the TM600, TM700 and TM800 series.
David Wang, RT Sales Manager at Trelleborg Wheels Systems in China, says: “TM600 is the most widely used range of Trelleborg radial tires in China, thanks to its great performance and most common tractor applications. TM600 radial tires deliver excellent traction and reduce tractor slippage in all soil conditions, including the demanding sandy soil environments of Inner Mongolia and central China. The two rear wheels offer additional traction to optimize performance in a variety of working conditions.
“With a larger footprint and self-cleaning capacity, the TM700 and TM800 series of radial tires maximize traction and comfort in the field and on the road, while increasing productivity and efficiency. TM700 tires are generally used for 140 horsepower models, while TM800 tires are favored for medium- and high-horsepower models.”
Trelleborg also showcased its TM3000 series of radial tires suitable for harvesters, as well as the TM150 series for sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, and planting operations. These new solutions focus more on soil protection and work under the principle of sustainable farming and development.
Considering that the exhibition took place under unexpected circumstances, attendance was down by about 20% compared to the previous year. In order to bring a rich event experience to those customers who were unable to attend the exhibition in person, Trelleborg set up an exclusive live broadcast room in its booth in cooperation with Farm Machinery Magazine, and successfully live-streamed the event to over 130 thousand online viewers.
